Terms & Conditions – InspectLog

These Terms & Conditions govern the use of InspectLog, an application developed and published by Advanta Apps.

By downloading or using InspectLog, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, you should not use the app.

Professional Use and Disclaimer

InspectLog is a data collection and reporting tool. It is not a substitute for professional judgment, certification, or structural engineering advice.

  • You acknowledge that you are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of all reports, including AI-generated content, before submitting them to clients or authorities.

  • Advanta Apps is not liable for any defects, omissions, or structural failures missed during an inspection, nor for any errors in the final report caused by software glitches or AI misinterpretation.

Exclusion of Warranties

InspectLog is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

Advanta Apps makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, reliability, completeness, or availability of the app or any reports generated using the app.

Nothing in these Terms restricts, excludes, or modifies any guarantees, rights, or remedies provided by the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) that cannot be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for a breach of a non-excludable guarantee is limited to the re-supply of the service or, where applicable, a refund.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Advanta Apps shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or claim arising from:

  • use of, or inability to use, InspectLog

  • reliance on reports, notes, or data generated by the app

  • data loss resulting from device failure, deletion, or app uninstallation

AI Features

InspectLog uses artificial intelligence for features such as "AI Polish". AI systems may produce inaccurate or hallucinated text. You agree that it is your responsibility to review and edit all AI-generated text for accuracy before finalizing any report.

Subscriptions and Billing

InspectLog offers optional paid features through auto-renewing subscriptions.

Subscriptions are billed in advance and automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Subscription pricing and availability may vary by region.

All payments, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Advanta Apps does not process payments directly and does not have access to users’ payment details.

Users are responsible for managing their subscriptions through their app store account settings.

Free Trials and Promotional Access

InspectLog may offer free trials, introductory offers, or promotional access to subscription features at its discretion.

Free trials automatically convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial period ends. Promotional or complimentary access may be time-limited and may expire without notice once the promotional period concludes.

Advanta Apps reserves the right to modify or discontinue free trials or promotional access at any time.

Fair Use and Usage Limits

Use of AI-assisted features is subject to fair-use limits to ensure service availability and performance for all users.

AI-assisted features may include limits on:

  • The maximum length of content submitted per request

  • The number of AI requests permitted per day

Current limits may include, but are not limited to, a maximum of 4,000 characters per AI request and up to 300 AI-assisted requests per user per day.

Fair-use limits may be adjusted from time to time without prior notice. Attempts to circumvent usage limits, automate requests, or misuse AI features may result in restricted access or termination of service.

Data and Storage

InspectLog stores inspection data locally on the user’s device.

Advanta Apps does not provide a cloud backup service and is not responsible for backing up, recovering, or restoring user data.

Intellectual Property

InspectLog and all related content, features, and trademarks are the intellectual property of Advanta Apps.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer the app except where permitted by law.

Changes to the App or Terms

Advanta Apps may update or modify InspectLog or these Terms & Conditions at any time.

Continued use of the app after changes are made constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Termination

Advanta Apps may suspend or terminate access to the app at any time without notice if these Terms & Conditions are violated.

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Victoria.
